Greenbrier Animal Care Center is a close-knit family practice seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) , EXPERIENCED receptionists as well as veterinary assistants, as we expand to handle a growing clientele base. We place strong emphasis on personalized care for each pet, while maintaining the close connection between our staff and clients. We want individuals with a desire to learn and excel their knowledge of veterinary medicine, our services and our hospital.

We are seeking both full and part time help, with strong consideration given towards prior managerial experience. Knowledge of Avimark software would be an additional bonus. RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT

Assistants are responsible for assisting the doctors and technicians, setting up lab work, filling prescriptions, maintaining patient records, animal handling, feeding, laundry, cleaning of the hospital, waste disposal, and weekend kennel duties.
